Who we are
Sharp.edz OÜ, registered in Pärnu, Estonia, is the controller of the personal data described below. If you visit from the European Union, the EU GDPR applies. If you visit from the United Kingdom, the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 apply. You can reach us at sharpedz@sharpedz.co.uk.
What we collect
Demo request form: your name, shop name, city, number of barbers, email address, phone number, and any preferred time or notes you add. 50% off reservation form: your name, shop name, email address, number of barbers and, if you add them, your current booking system and phone number. For both we also store the date, which page you used, any campaign tag in the link you followed, and that you accepted this policy.
The gap check tool
The calendar screenshots you upload are sent to an AI model provided by OpenAI, through our hosting provider, to read your appointments and services. They are used only for that and are not stored by us. When you ask for your report, we store your email address, the consent you gave, and the figures from that check: service names, durations, prices, your share of regulars and the results we calculated. We use the email address to send you the report and, because you agreed to it, occasional emails about $harp.edz. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Why we use it
To answer your demo request, to contact you about the 50% off launch offer, to send your gap check report, and to understand whether $harp.edz fits your shop. We do not sell your data.
Legal basis
Demo requests and 50% off reservations: to take the steps you asked for before any contract (Article 6(1)(b)). Your gap check report and product emails: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Cookies, analytics and advertising: your consent where the law requires it, under the ePrivacy rules in the EU and PECR in the UK. You can withdraw consent at any time; this doesn't affect anything done before.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions and gap check reports for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Calendar screenshots are not kept.
Who can see it
Only the Sharp.edz OÜ team. Your details are stored with our hosting, database and email providers, and screenshots are read by our AI provider, all acting on our instructions. Some providers may process data outside the UK and European Economic Area. When they do, the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision or by safeguards the law accepts: the EU standard contractual clauses and, for UK data, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, a copy of your data, or withdrawal of consent. Write to sharpedz@sharpedz.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to a data protection authority: in the EU, the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (or the authority where you live); in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Besides the technical storage needed to run the site, we use: the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) and Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited) to measure which ads lead to visits, gap checks and form submissions; Google Analytics 4 to count visits and page views; and, on sharpedz.co.uk, Contentsquare to see how visitors use our pages. These may set cookies and process data outside the UK and EEA under the safeguards described above. In the UK, the EEA and Switzerland, Meta and Contentsquare don't load until you accept in the cookie bar, and Google tags run in consent mode with cookies denied until then. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through , and withdrawing switches them off straight away. Declining does not affect your use of the site. We do not send these services your name, email or phone number.
